A group of people gathered in Chicago to mourn their dead relatives. Without them knowing it, the Coronavirus 'hides' and leads to super-spreaders, leaving at least 16 people sick and 3 dead.
When traced, one of the migrants was a close friend who had recently traveled abroad and was experiencing mild symptoms of the coronavirus. When mourn, he hugged a few people. Not only that, after mourning three days later he visited a birthday party and ignored the symptoms.

A few days later, he was tested and tested positive for COVID-19. When he learned of his condition, he had spread the virus to many people and resulted in 16 of them infected and 3 died.

"When people are together at funerals or extended family gatherings and when one of them has symptoms like the coronavirus, it is very likely to transmit it to others," said Dr. Jennifer Layden, chief medical officer of the Chicago Department of Public Health, quoted by WebMD.

At present, it is said that all people are vulnerable to contracting the Coronavirus. The disease is very contagious as the flu but is more severe because there is no drug and vaccine protection against the virus. Avoiding social gatherings effectively can reduce the rate of spread because viruses cannot infect others and find no host so they will die if they are on the surface.

"But not just staying at home but having to practice social distance and hygiene measures such as closing your mouth when coughing even if you are in the house," said Dr. Layden.

This case was reported on April 8 in a study by the US Centers for Disease Control and the US Weekly Morbidity and Mortality Report.
